Votails Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: May 15, 2026 Last Updated: May 15, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the technical, legal, and behavioral conduct rules for the Votails Service. It supplements the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, both of which also apply. Violation of this AUP may result in account suspension or termination, content removal, and where appropriate, civil or criminal liability.
This AUP applies to anyone who accesses or uses the Service in any way.

- Send spam, chain messages, bulk unsolicited messages, or repeated identical messages.
1.4 Account abuse

- Create an account if you are under 18, were previously banned, or are otherwise ineligible.

- Re-identify, deanonymize, or attempt to link any user's profile to off-platform identity information without their consent.
1.7 Platform-evasion conduct
- Take screenshots of conversations or profiles and post them publicly with intent to harass, mock, or extort the subject.
- Encourage other users to move communications off-platform for the purpose of evading our moderation tools, scams, or platform enforcement.
- Distribute or share invitations, referral links, or codes for unauthorized purposes.
1.8 Security research
We welcome good-faith security research. If you discover a vulnerability, report it to jay.lash@lashdigitalsolutions.com with the subject "Security Disclosure." We commit to acknowledging your report within 5 business days and not pursuing legal action against researchers who:
- Make a good-faith effort to avoid privacy violations, data destruction, or service interruption
- Do not exploit any vulnerability beyond what is necessary to demonstrate it
- Do not access, modify, or retain another user's data
- Give us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before public disclosure
2. Specific Examples of Prohibited Behavior
Without limiting the above, the following are clearly prohibited:
- "Hey, can you send me a quick $200 for my flight to come see you?" (financial solicitation / scam)
- Linking your Votails profile to an OnlyFans page (sexual-content commercial promotion)
- Sending the same opener to 100 users via a script (automation / spam)
- Scraping public profile data to build a "best matches" external analytics product (data harvesting)
- Using AI-generated photos as your profile photos (identity misrepresentation)
- Threatening to share another user's photos if they unmatch you (sextortion / extortion — also a crime in many jurisdictions)
- Asking for money to "upgrade your match's profile verification" (impersonation / phishing)
- Posting another user's name, employer, and city to publicly shame them (doxxing)
- Creating a new account after being banned (ban evasion)
- Running 5 simultaneous accounts to swipe in different cities (multi-accounting)
3. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Remove or restrict access to any content
- Suspend or terminate any account
- Refuse to provide the Service to any person
- Cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, and other parties to investigate and prosecute violations
- Pursue civil remedies for damages caused by violations
Repeat offenders
Accounts found to have committed multiple violations, or any single severe violation (e.g., CSAM, credible violent threat, sextortion), will be permanently banned. We may use device, payment, and behavioral signals to detect and prevent ban evasion.
No refund for terminated accounts
If your account is terminated for violation of this AUP or the Terms of Service, you are not entitled to a refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription, except as required by Apple, Google, or applicable law.
4. Reporting Violations
If you observe a violation of this AUP, report it via the in-app report tool or email jay.lash@lashdigitalsolutions.com. Provide as much detail as possible (screenshots, usernames, dates, times).
5. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance.
