Votails Community Guidelines

Votails is a community where adults connect over shared interests, lifestyles, and pets. These Community Guidelines describe what is and is not allowed on Votails. They apply to every interaction — profiles, photos, prompts, messages, pet posts, and any other content or behavior on the Service.

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, permanent termination, and (where applicable) referral to law enforcement.

By using Votails, you agree to follow these Guidelines. These Guidelines are part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Be Yourself

Use real photos of you. Recent, clear, unedited photos showing your face. No stock photos, group shots with no clear primary subject, or photos of celebrities.
Use your real name or a recognizable first name. No business names, slogans, or aliases meant to mislead.
Provide accurate information. Age, gender, location range, and pet information should be truthful.
One account per person. Duplicate accounts will be removed.
No impersonation. Do not pretend to be someone else, including public figures, other users, or fictional characters.

2. Be Respectful

Treat every member with dignity.
Respect "no." Respect blocks. Respect silence.
Disagree without insulting, demeaning, or attacking.
Remember that on the other side of every profile is a real person.

3. Zero Tolerance: Minors

There is zero tolerance for any content, behavior, or communication that:

Involves anyone under 18 in any sexualized or romantic context
Depicts, suggests, or solicits Child Sexual Abuse Material ("CSAM")
Involves an under-18 user creating an account or using the Service

We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement. Accounts engaged in this behavior are immediately and permanently banned, and we may preserve evidence for investigation.

If you encounter content that may involve a minor, report it immediately in the app and contact jay.lash@lashdigitalsolutions.com with the subject "URGENT — Minor Safety."

4. No Harassment, Hate, or Threats

The following are prohibited:

Hate speech or slurs targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, sex, age, disability, or serious medical conditions
Direct threats of violence or harm
Bullying, intimidation, stalking, or doxxing
Sexual harassment, including unsolicited sexual messages or images
Coordinated harassment or "pile-on" behavior
Content that praises, promotes, or glorifies violent extremism or terrorist organizations

We may report credible threats of violence to law enforcement.

5. No Nudity or Sexually Explicit Content

Votails is not an adult-content platform. The following are not allowed in profiles, photos, prompts, or messages:

Full or partial nudity (including in artistic, athletic, or "tasteful" framings)
Genitalia, female-presenting nipples, exposed buttocks, or close-up photos of clothed genital areas
Sexually explicit text, fantasies, or solicitations
Content advertising or soliciting sex work, including escort services, "sugar" arrangements, OnlyFans-style promotion, cam work, or any exchange of sexual content or activity for money or gifts
Fetish content presented in a sexually explicit manner

You may discuss relationship goals (including casual dating) in age-appropriate, non-explicit terms.

6. No Solicitation, Scams, or Commercial Use

Votails is for dating, not commerce. The following are not allowed:

Asking for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or financial assistance — this is a major sign of a romance scam
Promoting products, services, businesses, social media accounts, OnlyFans, podcasts, MLMs, investment schemes, or political campaigns
"Investment opportunities," "trading mentorship," "pig butchering," or any other fraudulent scheme
Phishing attempts, including links designed to steal credentials or install malware
Recruiting users to off-platform groups for commercial or fraudulent purposes
Spam, repeated copy-paste messages, or bulk unsolicited contact

If anyone asks you for money — including a "small fee to verify your account," "help with my child's medical bills," or "I just need to cover a flight to meet you" — it is almost certainly a scam. Do not pay. Do not send anything. Report and block.

7. Pets: Be Honest and Humane

Use real photos of your actual pets. Do not use photos of pets you do not own.
Do not glorify animal abuse, cruelty, illegal animal trade, or unethical breeding.
Do not promote sale, breeding services, or commercial pet listings.
Endangered, illegal, or restricted species may be removed at our discretion if local laws require it.
"Pet parenting style" answers are for matching purposes. Do not use the field to promote views unrelated to pets.

8. No Illegal Activity

Do not use Votails to plan, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity, including:

Drug sales or distribution (legal cannabis disclosure as a lifestyle attribute is permitted)
Weapons sales or trafficking
Human trafficking
Identity theft, document forgery, or fraud
Hacking or unauthorized access

9. No Sharing of Private Information

Do not post other people's private information (full names, addresses, phone numbers, employers, financial information, immigration status, medical conditions) without consent.
Do not screenshot or share another user's profile, photos, or messages publicly.
Do not extort, blackmail, or threaten to expose another user.

10. Be Truthful About Your Relationship Status

If you are in a monogamous relationship or married, do not use the Service unless your partner consents and your profile makes that clear (e.g., explicitly indicating you are non-monogamous and that your partner is aware).
Do not use Votails to facilitate cheating or deceptive non-consensual non-monogamy.

11. Photo Rules

Real, recent photos of you
At least one photo must clearly show your face
No nudity, no weapons, no drug paraphernalia
No photos of children other than your own (and only with appropriate context; never as your primary photo)
No photos depicting cruelty to animals or people
No photos with sexually suggestive minors, even if you claim they are 18+
No copyrighted photos used without right (e.g., professional photos used without permission)

12. Bots and Automation

No bots, scripts, or automation. Every interaction must be from a real person operating the app in real time.
No use of the Service to train or fine-tune AI models.

13. Reporting and Enforcement

How to report

Tap the ⋯ or flag icon on any profile, message, or piece of content, and select "Report." You'll be asked to choose a reason and provide details. Reports are confidential.

You can also email jay.lash@lashdigitalsolutions.com with the subject "Report" and a description.

What happens when you report

We review reports of objectionable content or behavior and take action within 24 hours where appropriate. Action may include:

Removing content
Warning the user
Temporarily suspending the account
Permanent termination
Referral to law enforcement (for credible threats, CSAM, or other unlawful conduct)

We may not provide updates on the outcome of individual reports to protect privacy and prevent retaliation.

Blocking

You can also block any user at any time from their profile. Blocking is immediate, mutual (they cannot see or contact you), and permanent unless you choose to unblock.

Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was in error, email jay.lash@lashdigitalsolutions.com with the subject "Appeal" and your account email. We will review and respond within a reasonable time.

14. Changes to These Guidelines

We update these Guidelines as the community grows and new patterns emerge. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
